On the Table. Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake

Joel and I were watching TV the other day when a program of Nigella Lawson's came on. We giggled naughtily watching it as neither of us can take her seriously after watching Nigella Talks Dirty, especially when she cooks in a black silk dressing gown with apparently not much else on!! Joel was already drooling at the TV screen when she started making a chocolate peanut butter cheesecake.... so we made one too :)

The recipe ended up making two cakes and now Joel and I are heading to the gym hardcore because they are REALLY bad for you!

For special occasions though whip this one up its pretty good ;)

Monday.

On Saturday I had my winery tour cherry popped for a friend's hen's day. A whole group of us on a bus drinking champagne and listening to some awesome tunes. I helped out the MOH another friend make up some goodie bags for everyone and below are some pictures of just what they were :)

I found this great complimentary banner from How About Orange printed it half the size and stitched it all together on the sewing machine. A simple cute addition that didn't take long cost pretty much nothing and hopefully made someone's day :)

For the bride-to-be she got a bit of a different bag and I made a super simple sash for her to wear that was not the standard pink shiny affair

Monday. Wedding Signs

There is something freeing about not blogging 5 days a week, I mean I really do love blogging but with the mountain of stuff on my plate it had started to become a chore, I now get excited again when I make something that I could blog about (rather than making something TO blog about).

I have been making another one of these signs whenever I have a spare 10 mins for my friends' upcoming wedding, we picked up a pallet off the side of the road a little while ago and pulled it apart for the wood. The font is called 'Silverfake' and I am planning on using it for all written aspects of their big day. Wondering how I did it? Using Publisher I printed a banner in the dimensions of the wood then used carbon paper to trace the outline and coloured it in with a black marker. Using the same font throughout really helps things tie in and it's a lot easier than it looks!

Her hen's party (Bachelorette) is on in another couple of weeks and I will have some pretty awesome things to show you then but for now just keeping them a surprise ;)

Until next time

Taking a Break

Ok so last week when I said I was doing amazing at juggling my time..... I was wrong.

Yesterday was a long weekend here in Aust but when you begin doing weddings your Mondays quickly turn into your weekends anyway. I love weddings, I love how busy we are and I also love blogging but until I can sort them out together I think I will be blogging more sporadically and so I feel I should tell you this. All you who have been so loyal to me over the past few months THANK-YOU SO MUCH :) I really appreciate your kind comments and support from the bottom of my heart!!

Fingers crossed I can sort things out and perhaps still keep my weekly Friday feature ;)
