When planning a wedding you spend a great deal of time trying to find ways to minimize costs (well unless you're a Murdoch/Trump/Kate Moss) one way many brides are doing this is by DIY-ing flowers.
For me it was really important to have beautiful fresh flowers and we achieved this on a budget by filling my mother-in-law's vegetable garden with a whole mess of cut flower seeds months before the wedding and then subsidizing them with a couple of dozen roses from a local rose farm.We had paper daisies, lavender, stacy's and a few other bits and pieces.
But another option that seems to be everywhere at the moment is making your own flowers, this is great for the crafty and not-so-crafty alike the only thing you need is plenty of TIME and MOTIVATION. To save you from having to scour the internet for ideas I have compiled a whole mess of easy-ish tutorials. Just follow the links in the captions.
Good luck and happy crafting :) for more ideas head on over to my Pinterest
